It doesn't matter if a project gets delayed but you need to give the homeowner more then 24hrs - 0 hrs notice when the new start date is likely to happen.

I was not notified of the delivery date of the product, nor was I notified in a timely manner regarding the amount of strapping I was providing, nor was I notified when the disposal bin was to arrive. However, the work was supposed to start in April and ended up starting on September 14 with several promised start dates in between also missed. The previous roof (also installed by Interlock) proved to be poorly done and we are hopeful that this time there will be no leaks. But it is too early to be confident of that. There were some communication issues with crew since english was not that clear. When we had negotiated with the salesman about the ventilating system for the roof, he recommended a certain solution for how the attic area would be ventilated. When John showed up, he said we could not do that and that it would not work. John and Barry got into a push fight with regards to how to ventilate the attic area. It was done in rainy weather, which left the old shingles roof not in the best condition to be covered by another roof, Interlock should be installed on dry shingles in my opinion. A person is more apt to be happy when they receive a phone call and when it is not put off again and again. That gets people mad.

We weren't impressed with that. I have grandkids that come and play. That was the only concern that I had. We got our warranty information in the mail and our address was wrong. I've got to call and get that corrected. Other than that, it looks great.

One of the employees could speak very broken English and we cannot speak Spanish so it was difficult to ask questions or discuss concerns directly with the crew. However, a simple phone call to Jennifer Simons at the Walpole office addressed the issue. In the future, having a member of the roofing crew who speaks fluent English would be very helpful and reassuring to the homeowner.
