I did not get it done. When I went to pay up front, the flat part jumped in price about $4000. I even sent them a copy of the quote. John said it was for the main part. It is clearly written that the flat part was part of the quote. I just want to make sure Justin and his guys get a pat on the back. They were amazing.

Also, for the next few days afterward (and after the first few rains) I managed to find a lot of small cut pieces coming out of my downspouts which I had to make sure were cleaned up before I mowed the lawn.

I can't say that enough. When dealing with a homeowner who doesn't speak Spanish, it doesn't help. That would be my biggest, and a little more attentiveness to people's property as far as decks. They scratched mine up a little bit, but they did try and fix it

Our project started almost one month after the promised time. They were relying on weather forecasts out of Salem (a 45 minute drive from our house) to base some of their work schedules around, even though I told them that the weather from Salem was not reflective of the weather at the work site.
