this companies customer service is awful. they never return calls and the lack of communication is unbelievable. when I inquired about the company, I no sooner hit the send button on my computer when someone called to set up an appointment. after I gave them a down payment , and then after one month passed , I inquired to find out if they had any idea when the project would start .now the urgency to return my inquiry was no longer a priority no one would return my call. after i made about 4 calls with no response I had to call the salesman who then called someone and finally i was told that the material hasn't been ordered yet due to the pandemic...fine I can accept that just call and tell me....... more to follow COMMUNICATION AND PROFESSIONAL COURTESY OF RETURNING CALLS HIRE YOUR OWN WORKERS AND NOT INDEPENDANT CONTRACTORS don't schedule installs dec jan and feb in New England i originally learned of this company through my neighbor. she had a roof put on 15 years ago that looks as good today as it did 15 years ago i wanted a metal roof because i'll probably leave my house to my daughters and i figured that was one less headache they would have to worry about because of the life time warranty . well what i have gone through for the last 5 or 6 months has certainly put a dent into that thought. there were so many little things that happened which cast doubt in my mind as to whether or not i made a big mistake going with this company. the biggest and most irritating was not returning my calls. i started thinking.... i can't get this company to return a call just to find out if they have a start up date yet.....what's going to happen if i have any trouble with this roof in the future after it's installed. so my confidence started to decline a little. then as time went on and we got deeper into the winter, i started to wonder how are they going to install a roof during a new england winter i asked should we wait until warmer weather? the front office said there was no problem...metal roofs are not like asphalt and can be installed during the winter. well when the material finally came in and the workers started the job ,the contractor told me they can't work when the temperature is below a certain temperature. completely opposite from what the front office told me.....more doubt starting to build...prior to the start, someone from the main office called me told me the dumpster would arrive the next day at 2 :00 in the afternoon the dumpster arrived the next day at7:30 in the morning ...only missed it by 7 hours.. more doubt growing. the same person also told me they would not deliver the materials until AFTER the blizzard which was expected on a monday. my wife and i went to the store that friday. when we returned home ,guess what was in our yard, you got it ..all the material was delivered once again the complete opposite from what i was told. so this went on and on. another thing , i was told by the salesman that the vents at the peak of my house should be blocked so they don't interfer with the air flow. well the contractor didn't seem too enthusiastic about doing it then said whatever you want.to do. .what ever i want your the professional ,if they needed to be blocked then block them. if they don't then don't block them .they didn't block them. once again the complete opposite from what the salesman said . another little thing . i asked the salesman if they could remove my gutters during the install..they weren't very good and i wanted to try doing without them .he said no problem but when the job started the contractor said it wasn't in the contract , but they will remove them for me anyway .there were also roofing cables which they did remove and rolled up f'or me. but i guess i was supposed to say gutters and downspouts because the 10foot downspouts and drain pipe are still attached to my house. that's no problem but they also broke a frame to one of the windows of my bay window which cost me 175 dollars to replace ...haven't herd anything from the company about paying for it..nor have i heard anything yet about the 500 dollars my neighbor should be getting for a referral fee. well after all these episodes, the straw that broke the camel's back occurred after i paid for the entire job.i paid the crew lead the entire amount as called for by the contract. he signed and dated the check. nothing was said to me about any additional moneys owed.i was PAID IN FULL .the very next day, the salesman who i have not heard from for over five months expressing any type of concern for all the delays i've indured calls me and says i owe over 2000 for additional shingles that had to be removed and rotted wood that had to be replaced. i explained above about all this BS. ALL this ignoring me and not saying one word to me about anything at all for the last 5 months finally peaked with this phone call and caused me to explode. all my questions, all my doubts, all my sleepless nights worrying about whether or not i made a good decision were now answered. did i make a good decision...unfortunately the answer is NO. i am really disappointed to have to write this review. all that i have looked forward to enjoying this roof has really had a damper put on it. to give credit where credit is due..the roof looks great all kinds of people have come by and told me how good it looks. even though the roof looks good, every time it rains ,snows, wind driven snow and rain my heart will be in my mouth hoping and preying that the roof doesn't leak because if it does , i have no faith at all that this company will stand behind its lifetime warranty...very very disappointed steve montanaro

Well, I stand corrected. First I want to apologize for the tone of my last email. I was anticipating a high pressure sales pitch, and dealing with some health issues at present, I was in no mood to deal with being pressured to buy something. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised with Michael. Although he presented a good argument of why and how Interlock was a good roof product, at no time did my wife or I feel pressured into buying your product. Also, as I've been burned a couple of times in the past, I made it a personal rule that I NEVER sign a contract on first meeting. As you can see, apparently I broke my own rule in this case, as my wife and I had already researched other roof products and it appeared that Interlock was a reputable company with many favorable reviews. Also, much of our opinion was based in no small measure in the way Michael Baldassari presented himself, the company, and the product. Having said this, we look forward with anticipation to showing off our new roof and are hopeful that others in our neighborhood will appreciated the beauty and benefits of an Interlock all metal roof as well.

Received call that dumpster would be delivered but not construction materials and product was put in second driveway and I preferred in the first driveway. Installers were very professional and hard workers. Only comment about installers was command of the English language was very limited and no one else from the office communicated throughout the 5 day installation.

I didn't like the way they installed the roof, it's not laid out right. I feel like they did a shoty job on a couple of things. I would like them to come back out and fix the things that I'm not happy with. I don't like the way they placed one roof cap on at all. One sticks up and they used clear caulking on that and I don't like the way that looks.

They don't deal honestly with their customers, and you have to watch them the whole time. You contract them for one thing, and they subcontract for something else. You need to check with the sub's contract and compare it to what you contracted them for because they try to skim. They could have improved with a more thorough assessment prior to the contract, adherence to the contract as it was written, and not trying to cheat us by contracting the sub to do something different from what I paid for. If I had not had asked for the sub's contract, I would not have known. That is what they were counting on.
