What our customers are saying:
Your home is your greatest investment, sheltering you from the storms. Don’t nickel and dime yourself when choosing a roof, you get what you pay for. We chose Interlock aluminum roofing for our house, and are totally pleased with it. Aluminum doesn’t rust period. The current rage of steel roofing is a racket preying on uninformed consumers who want something for next to nothing. Steel roofs are coated to prevent rust. However, once these coatings wear off rust sets in. I have personally seen an 18 year-old steel roof with significant rusting after the coating was gone. Do yourself a favor, get an Interlock aluminum roof. Dean Landers 5 star review June 9/2026 Janesville WI
I had Interlock put on a beautiful red slate roof 17 years ago.The roof still looks beautiful. 5 years ago, I had them also re-roof my garage with the same type of slate. The roofs look gorgeous and I have no maintenance whatsoever.I get complements all the time. The guy whom I contracted with was named "Tim' but has since died. He was a really nice guy. Back in 2009, the roof was much cheaper. ( I actually paid more for the garage 5 years ago!) I am extremely happy with the roofs. The guys did a wonderful job, replacing rotted boards where necessary. They also told me about very cheap gutters I could buy at Menards instead of those ridiculously - priced "special" gutter systems. I bought them and they placed them on my buildings. This home will go to my daughter one day; I do not want her to have to lift a finger. Note that I had an asphalt roof previously. It lasted only 12 years. The shingles curled up under the sun and cracked. They looked terrible. I can honestly say that these metals roofs by Interlock are very much worth what you pay for them. They will last a lifetime with almost no maintenance. Instead of replacing a roof every 15 years and paying lots for asphalt or fiberglass, their metal roofs last very long and you will never have to re- roof again.
Our experience with having our Interlock roof installed was exceptional. It was installed during the hottest days of the year, and none of our neighbors could believe the installers were working so hard during the hot, muggy weather. They finished several days ahead of schedule and left the yard clean and neat, even after a complete tear-off of three layers of roofing. One day during the installation, we had a rain storm, and the installers all took shelter in their vehicles. I noticed that we had a leak in a spot that had clearly had leaks before we bought the house. When I pointed it out to the installers, they went up the ladder in the pouring rain, found the cause of the problem (which, again, was a pre-existing problem, not one due to the Interlock installation) and fixed it on the spot. The service was exceptional.
We purchased our roof in 2009 and as you can see from the pictures taken in May of 2017, our roof looks as new as the day we bought it. Here are the things we have noticed most about our Interlock Lifetime Roof over the last 8 years. It keeps our house much cooler in the summer than the asphalt roof we used to have. It really sheds snow, and the snow guards work great. We never need to use a snow rake. We love the durability and the curb appeal. Greg Weber our representative, who we were enthused to learn, is still with the company. When we saw him in 2009 he laid out all the variables in a professional way and our Interlock Roof has lived up to all of our expectations and promises he made. All companies promise results, service, and quality. Interlock delivers.
The installation was super smooth. Every installer was courteous and professional. We get lots of compliments, and people stop by all the time to admire it. One of the biggest misconceptions about metal roofing is people think it’s loud. Our Interlock roof is very silent. The only way I know if it’s raining is if I look out a window. Also, the snow just slides off. We are also in a wind tunnel area, and we have never lost an Interlock shingle, and we have had the roof for many years. We were so pleased with our Interlock roof that we put the same roof on our lake home in northern Wisconsin. We get a lot more snow up there and the Interlock’s snow-shedding performance capabilities are second to none on that roof, too!
First off, the installation crew was great! They worked very hard, took short breaks, and completed the job very efficiently. Greg Weber, our sales representative, told us an Interlock Roof was more energy efficient than asphalt, and one of the major things we noticed over the years is how much cooler our home office upstairs is in the summertime and warmer it is in the wintertime. It’s a dramatic difference from our old asphalt roof. We have had a few neighbors even question why we invested more in an Interlock roof than a typical asphalt roof, and we always smile and say, “Everybody complains about spending money. Do you want to complain about it once or multiple times, and do you want to be all in to have the best, or not in, and hope for the best.” Thank you, Interlock!
Dear Interlock Lifetime Roofing Systems, The installation was terrific. Jessie and his crew were very nice, polite, and clean and worked together like a well-oiled machine. If I was to have work done on my home for any type of project, this is the team I would recommend and would want to work on my house. Greg Weber, my sales representative, answered all my questions, set the proper expectations, and over delivered in every aspect. We had a major rainstorm shortly after the installation, and we noticed no difference in sound at all. Our Interlock roof is the talk of the neighborhood.
Dear Interlock Lifetime Roofing Systems: We purchased our Interlock Lifetime Roof in June 2014. We are very happy with the look, durability of the material, and finish. After a snowfall, the heat of the sun will warm the roof and allow the snow to shed from the roof. We have a great sense of security, knowing it can withstand higher winds than conventional asphalt. In fact, our neighbors lost many shingles in the last major wind storm, and our Interlock roof proved to be the high wind resistance product it is with all shingles intact. We love the fact it’s more reliable and has peace of mind knowing it has lots of longevity and will look brand new not only now but down the road. We also received a discount on our homeowner’s insurance. Overall, we were very satisfied with our sales representative Greg Weber, the company, the service, and the product.
We have been do-it-yourselfer homeowners our whole lives. We are very handy and capable when it comes to home improvements and appreciate craftsmanship and quality. And that’s what Interlock Lifetime Roofing Systems provided us with our roof. Craftsmanship and quality. Plus, durability, beauty, and experience from a company that manufactures and certify install its own product. That is something, a company that makes its own product, that was very important to us, and no other company in our market offered that, except Interlock. Another thing that was important was we didn’t want to have to deal with rust because many steel metal roofs look good new but look old and hideous down the road because of fading and rusting. Interlock is aluminum. So, it won’t rust, and it achieves and exceeds the highest rating of hail resistance. So, it’s like we said earlier – super durable! Jessie and his crew were super and hard working. We were amazed by their work ethic. That’s something that’s becoming rare nowadays. Also, we were told by a competitor that Greg Weber and Interlock would be high-pressure. That was the furthest thing from the truth. Greg was polite, personable, and knowledgeable and helped us sift through the “lesser quality, cheaper installation, sales gimmicky and overly aggressive” competitors. He provided us with a detailed range of the competition by laying out all the variables so we could make an intelligent comparison and decision. Greg helped save us a lot of time from all the other companies in our market selling what everyone else is selling or just selling stuff and making promises they can’t keep. All the asphalt guys want you to believe that their products will last, and all the steel companies want you to believe their products won’t rust, and everybody knows… That’s Just Not True! Interlock has proven itself for over four decades. That’s Impressive. That’s why we went with them, Jessie and Greg.
In March 2017 we had an Interlock Lifetime Roof installed. Greg Weber, the salesman, was not pushy. We were very impressed with his salesmanship and the product. He also offered to have the Interlock product put on our wishing well in the front yard. That was something we really appreciated. The clean-up was excellent! Many neighbors and people who " data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">walk by the house have noticed the roof and asked a lot of questions. We have gotten lots of compliments!
We visited the booth Interlock had at the Remodelling Show at State Fair Park. We got a lot of excellent information there and left our number for a call-back. We did receive the call back promptly and got an appointment right away. The estimator showed up on time and thoroughly explained the process, the product choices and the costs. We signed up for a new metal roof that evening because the advantages were so many, and the expense over time was not much different from regular shingles. This metal roof will probably outlive us! The actual work didn’t start for about two months because the company was very busy, but removing the old layers of shingles was the first process. This was done in a day, and the waterproofing membrane went on. The roofing materials were supposed to be delivered in a couple of days, which unfortunately didn’t happen. The actual work didn’t start for about two months because the company was very busy, but removing the old layers of shingles was the first process. This was done in a day, and the waterproofing membrane went on. The roofing materials were supposed to be delivered in a couple of days, which unfortunately didn’t happen. Instead, a heavy, rainy week intervened, and we did get water in our kitchen. It took a while to get someone to call me back and that was frustrating because it damaged our kitchen ceiling. Ultimately, though, I did get a call, and the work was expedited to the following day. The roofers did the entire installation in one day and did a great job. The roof is beautiful, and we have many people stopping and looking at the wonderful work and superior materials. I know the company will honor their promise to pay for the damage to the kitchen. Once that is done, all is well. The experience wasn’t perfect, but it was as close as mother nature and shipping glitches allowed.
The Interlock crew was able to take some extra time to coordinate with another contractor for solar installation. As a result, the final the result looks great and very functional. The materials used are very high quality, and they worked efficiently and cleaned up when finished.

Metal Roofing FAQs for Homeowners in Ebenezer
The following metal roofing FAQs are designed specifically for homeowners in Ebenezer, Wisconsin. Whether you are building a new home or replacing an existing roof, understanding how roofing materials perform in local weather conditions is essential. From wind and storm protection to fire resistance, hail impact, snow loads, and coastal moisture exposure, Interlock’s Lifetime Aluminum Roofing System is engineered to provide long-term durability, energy efficiency, and peace of mind in Ebenezer.
How does a metal roof handle Wisconsin snow and ice buildup?
Metal roofing sheds snow and ice far better than asphalt because the smooth interlocking aluminum surface doesn't trap moisture the way porous shingles do. Ebenezer averages about 88 cm of snow annually with roughly 81 freeze-thaw cycles per year—conditions that crack asphalt and wood shingles but leave aluminum's oxide layer intact. Four-way interlocking panels eliminate gaps where water refreezes into ice dams. Snow guards can be installed where needed, and the extraordinary light weight (the Shake profile at 0.58 lb/sq ft) means no structural worry even after heavy wet snow.
Will freeze-thaw cycles damage aluminum roofing over time?
No—aluminum actually improves under freeze-thaw stress because it has no iron to rust and its protective oxide layer self-heals when scratched. Your region experiences about 81 freeze-thaw days yearly, a condition that splits wood shakes, spalls slate, and accelerates asphalt degradation. Interlock's 3105-H24 aluminum alloy is ASTM B209-rated and withstands this cycling indefinitely. The Alunar 70% PVDF coating (warranted 30 years against fading per ASTM D4214) adds another defense layer, so your roof actually becomes more durable the longer it endures Wisconsin winters.
Why is aluminum roofing better than steel for wet climates?
Aluminum cannot rust because it contains no iron—steel does, and iron oxidizes into the crumbling, staining corrosion that shortens steel roofs to 15–20 years. Ebenezer receives about 775 mm of annual rainfall, keeping your roof wet enough that any iron-based material will corrode despite paint coatings. Interlock uses roofing-grade 3105-H24 and 3003-H24 aluminum (ASTM B209), which forms an invisible, self-healing oxide barrier. Even when scratched, this barrier reforms on its own. The Alunar fluorocarbon finish (applied to both panel sides) extends protection to 30 years against chalking.
Can metal roofing stand up to Wisconsin wind gusts?
Yes—Interlock's four-way interlocking design and 120 mph wind warranty handle wind gusts up to 193 km/h when installed to spec. Ebenezer's typical daily-max winds reach about 20 km/h with gusts around 100 km/h, well within that tolerance. The interlocking system means each panel is mechanically fastened to the next, creating one unified surface that won't blow off or lift like asphalt shingles do. Insurance companies recognize this durability and often reduce wind-damage deductibles for metal roofs, offsetting part of the upfront cost.
Does metal roofing qualify for insurance discounts after hail?
Interlock's aluminum panels carry a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating—the highest available—and the warranty covers perforation from hailstones up to 1.5 inches. That extreme durability often qualifies you for homeowners insurance discounts because metal roofs rarely sustain hail damage that asphalt roofs do routinely. Ebenezer's 88 cm average annual snowfall can mask occasional hail risk, but Wisconsin's spring and summer storms are real threats to shingle roofs. Class 4 aluminum costs less to insure than the tile or slate it resembles, making it a smarter financial choice than materials that look similar but dent or crack easily.
Will my house need structural upgrades for a metal roof?
No—aluminum's extreme light weight eliminates reinforcement costs entirely. The Mediterranean Tile profile weighs just 0.59 lb/sq ft, roughly 96% lighter than concrete or clay tile, so it installs directly over your existing roof structure without engineering work. Compare that to slate or clay tile, which demand expensive framing upgrades. Ebenezer homes built on standard residential foundations handle aluminum without any modifications. This lightweight advantage also means faster installation and the option to install over existing asphalt, saving landfill waste and labor costs that heavier materials require.
What warranty does Interlock offer, and how long does the roof last?
The Guardian Warranty is a lifetime limited, non-prorated material warranty for the original owner, covering rusting, rotting, splitting, cracking, curling, and loss of impact resistance. It's transferable once—the next homeowner gets 50 years of coverage from completion date. Because aluminum cannot rust and its oxide layer self-heals, the roof doesn't degrade like asphalt (15–20 years) or wood (25–30 years). With Ebenezer's 81 annual freeze-thaw cycles and 775 mm rain, you're looking at a roof that outlasts the house itself. One warranty transfer means resale appeal and buyer confidence.
Is metal roofing worth the upfront cost compared to asphalt shingles?
Yes, over the roof's full lifespan. Asphalt costs less initially but needs replacement every 15–20 years—three or four times over 60 years. Interlock's lifetime non-prorated warranty, combined with zero maintenance, no rust, and no splits from Wisconsin's 81 freeze-thaw days, means you buy this roof once. Energy-efficient energy-efficiency colors (thermal emissivity 0.84) also reduce cooling costs in summer. Add the transferable 50-year warranty (worth real money at resale), and metal roofing becomes the last roof you buy. The break-even point hits around year 25; everything after that is savings.
Do metal roofs really save on cooling costs, or is that just marketing?
It's measured fact, not marketing. energy-efficient Interlock colors achieve thermal emissivity of 0.84 and solar reflectance up to 0.55 (Aged Copper Penny), meaning they bounce heat away instead of absorbing it like asphalt. Ebenezer gets about 3,074 sunshine hours yearly—plenty of opportunity for that reflectance to work. Cool Roof Rating Council testing confirms the cooling benefit. In summer, a reflective metal roof stays 30–50°F cooler than asphalt, reducing air-conditioning load and lowering utility bills. Winter heating isn't affected because the savings come from reduced solar gain, not insulation value.
How much maintenance does a metal roof require?
Virtually none—that's one of aluminum's biggest advantages over asphalt, wood, or tile. You don't replace rotting shingles, patch cracks, or scrub mold buildup twice a year. Debris clears itself when snow or rain sheds off the smooth interlocking surface. Ebenezer's 775 mm annual rainfall and 88 cm snow naturally rinse the panels. The Alunar 70% PVDF fluorocarbon finish (warranted 30 years) resists chalking and fading without touch-up paint. Gutters need clearing like any roof, but the roof itself requires nothing. CALGreen verification confirms reduced maintenance compared to traditional materials, which means fewer contractor visits and no surprise repair bills.
