After install I asked if the top cap put on was adequate for the same type venting that it replaced. A man called and explained it was vented at the peak and I would be able to see this from inside the attic, which is not easy to access on my roof. The team brought in a hydraulic dumpster-type device that really helped so that they could scoop removed material directly into it instead of dumping it on the ground first. Using a drone during the initial estimate might be helpful, because it may allow for a more accurate estimate. (It would also allow you to have better "before" pictures, and might identify other problems, such as our needing to replace our chimney.)
