Review: October 17, 2023Completion: September 27, 2023

They did a great job on the roof, and it looks great. There was a little confusing with setting up the payments, but Rene was nice with helping me figure everything out. The system doesn't seem to have what you owe listed on there. We had to look at the invoice to determine things. I think the system could be a little clearer as to what you owe at what time. The little nails are not a huge problem. I used to do roofing when I was younger, and I understand how it works. Everyone was really nice and polite. When they did the installation, they knocked it out quickly before any rain. We did push it to the rainy season, so that was good to have it done quickly. They were really patient and responsive. If I had a question, I got an answer back quickly. I never felt like I was in the dark. This company is very customer orientated.

Review: October 4, 2022Completion: June 21, 2022

Interlock Roofing is amazing. From the first day I met their salesman to the day they started work on our barn and house. They were very easy to talk to and express our concern about how important it was to keep our hay safe from rain and the ground around the barn safe for the animals. They were fast exceptionally clean and so much fun to get to know. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a roof that will last a life time. Thank you for an amazing job and two beautiful roofs!

Review: November 14, 2019Completion: October 2, 2019

COMMUNICATION!!Don't make appointments and then not show up, don't miss appointments and make customers call for days to find out why and when the new appointment will be just to not show up again. ANSWER the PHONE when people call, having customers sit without information is infuriating and just makes them unhappy from the start. So...Communication and customer service improvement would be great. We were very upset with the wasting of our vacation time, had we known you would cancel 3 appointments to install just to not show up until after the leave from work was over, we would have gone and done things on our vacation. Instead it was just us sitting around the house very angry wondering if they were going to show up at all or even call....you wasted our time, and my husbands vacation time.

Needed to put this project on hold, due to other issues that have arisen. You will be the first people we call when we are ready to roof our home.

Review: May 11, 2025Completion: May 14, 2025

We had an excellent experience the first time with Interlock so used them again when we moved to our new home. I can’t sing praises any higher. Mike Rasmussen sold us the first time and we were lucky to have him this time as well. May and Patrick are wonderful to work with. Gregory, our installler, worked hard to get the job done single handedly when his partner had a family emergency and couldn’t continue. Our roof is gorgeous and the neighbors are slowing to look. I would recommend Interlock any time and every time! My pics don’t do it justice.

Review: January 12, 2022Completion: December 31, 2021

We are in the middle of a lawsuit because they destroyed our ceiling by not covering the unfinished roof when it rained. They could have improved by covering the unfinished roof when it rained. I am still waiting on my lawyer to see if they are going to honor the warranty. As I have said, now my roof is falling apart.

Metal Roofing FAQs for Homeowners in Eufaula

The following metal roofing FAQs are designed specifically for homeowners in Eufaula, Washington. Whether you are building a new home or replacing an existing roof, understanding how roofing materials perform in local weather conditions is essential. From wind and storm protection to fire resistance, hail impact, snow loads, and coastal moisture exposure, Interlock’s Lifetime Aluminum Roofing System is engineered to provide long-term durability, energy efficiency, and peace of mind in Eufaula.

How does a metal roof handle heavy snow and ice in Eufaula winters?

Interlock's four-way interlocking panels shed snow reliably even under Eufaula's average 51 cm annual snowfall and frequent freeze-thaw cycles (about 24 per year). The smooth aluminum surface prevents ice dam formation that commonly damages asphalt roofs. Snow guards are available if you want to control shedding. The lightweight design—especially the Shake at 0.58 lb/sq ft—means zero structural reinforcement needed, even with accumulated snow load. This matters in your region where snow sits longer than in warmer climates.

Will a metal roof leak in Eufaula's rainy climate?

Eufaula receives roughly 1500 mm of rainfall annually, and Interlock's four-way interlocking seams are engineered to channel water downward and outward—no standing water or pooling. Each panel locks mechanically to its neighbors; there are no fastener holes exposed to the weather. Combined with a solid deck and underlayment, the system meets ICC-ES ESR-1790 building code for water management. Installation over your existing roof adds an extra layer of protection without removal costs or temporary exposure.

Why don't aluminum metal roofs rust like steel roofs?

Aluminum cannot rust because it contains no iron—the element that oxidizes in steel. Instead, aluminum develops a thin, transparent oxide layer that self-heals when scratched. In Eufaula's wet climate, this passive barrier protects the metal continuously. Interlock uses roofing-grade 3105-H24 and 3003-H24 aluminum alloy (ASTM B209) with a Alunar 70% PVDF fluorocarbon finish applied to both sides, warranted 30 years against corrosion and fading. Steel roofs in your region would require constant maintenance to prevent rust staining and deterioration.

Can a metal roof actually lower cooling costs in Washington state?

Yes. Interlock's energy-efficient colors reflect solar heat rather than absorbing it like dark asphalt. The reflectance reaches up to 0.55 (Aged Copper Penny), and thermal emissivity is 0.84—meaning less radiant heat enters your home. Over Eufaula's 2835 annual sunshine hours, this reflection compounds. You won't see dramatic savings in a temperate climate, but every degree cooler reduces air-conditioning load. The Cool Roof Rating Council verification confirms the performance under field conditions, not just lab conditions.

Does hail damage metal roofs, and can I get insurance help in Eufaula?

Interlock holds a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating—the highest available—and the warranty covers perforation from hailstones up to 1.5 inches. Class 4 rated roofs often qualify for insurance discounts because they reduce claim frequency and severity. In regions prone to severe hail, homeowners have documented lower premiums. Eufaula's typical wind gusts reach 103 km/h with hail possible in spring and fall; the Class 4 rating gives you peace of mind and documentation for your insurer.

How does a metal roof stand up to Eufaula's wind and storm gusts?

Interlock's four-way interlocking panels are warranted to resist wind speeds up to 120 mph (193 km/h) when installed to specification. Eufaula experiences typical daily-max winds of about 14 km/h with gusts to 103 km/h—well within the roof's rated capacity. The mechanical interlocks distribute wind load across multiple panels; there is no reliance on fasteners alone. This design is why Interlock panels have been installed from coastal salt-air homes to an Antarctic research station—extreme wind climates validate the engineering.

Do I need to reinforce my roof structure for a metal roof?

No. Interlock's Mediterranean Tile profile installs at only 0.59 lb/sq ft—about 96% lighter than concrete or clay tile—and the Shake profile is 0.58 lb/sq ft. Traditional tile requires expensive structural work; Interlock installs directly over most existing asphalt roofs without reinforcement. This is especially valuable in older Eufaula homes not designed for heavy loads. The lightweight advantage also makes renovation faster and less disruptive, keeping installation costs down while delivering the aesthetic of heavy materials.

What warranty comes with Interlock metal roofing?

The Guardian Warranty is a lifetime limited, non-prorated material warranty for the original owner, covering rust, rot, splitting, cracking, curling, and loss of impact resistance. It transfers once to the next owner for 50 years from completion—a strong resale incentive. The Alunar coating itself carries a separate 30-year warranty against chalking and fading (ASTM D4214/D2244 measured). This tiered protection means your home is covered for your ownership, and the next buyer gains decades of security. No asphalt or wood roof offers this longevity structure.

Is a metal roof worth the upfront cost compared to asphalt shingles?

Metal roof cost is higher initially, but asphalt typically needs replacement every 15–20 years. Over 50 years—the span of an Interlock roof—you buy asphalt 2–3 times, each time tearing off old material to the landfill. Interlock is ~95% recyclable and ends that cycle. Current regional promotion: no payments and no interest until Spring 2027, or 10% off installation. Spread over the roof's life, Interlock's per-year cost drops below multiple asphalt replacements. Add in no structural reinforcement needed (especially for Tile), minimal maintenance, and transferable warranty value—the math favors metal.

Who installs Interlock metal roofing in Eufaula, Washington?

Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. has served the region since 1997, bringing 27 years of local experience to Eufaula and Cowlitz County. They understand the specific demands of your climate—1500 mm annual rain, 51 cm snow, 24 freeze-thaw cycles—and install to meet ICC-ES ESR-1790 building code. Is a metal roof a good choice for Eufaula’s climate?

Yes. Eufaula averages about 51 cm of snow, 1500 mm of rain, roughly 24 freeze–thaw days a year, with peak wind gusts near 103 km/h. Interlock® aluminum roofing is wind-rated to 193+ km/h (120 mph), UL 2218 Class 4 impact-rated and Class A fire-rated, and its four-way interlocking panels shed snow and resist ice dams and freeze–thaw cracking — all backed by a lifetime limited, transferable warranty.
