| Material: heavy-gauge aluminum roof profiles (Slate / Shake / Shingle / Tile / Standing Seam) | All-season structural stability: lightweight, dent-resistant metal system stays stable through large hot-cold swings and severe weather. |
| Expected lifespan: 50+ years | Long-term durability across climates: avoids re-roof cycles typical of shorter-life materials, even in high-stress environments. |

What our customers are saying:
Interlock has the best roof. I wish I could afford it.
We have been enjoying our Interlock roof for several months. The planning, purchasing, and installation experience was everything we expected it to be – superb. The original shingles, paper, and staples were removed. The two installers did these tasks without making a mess in the surrounding garden or the patio. A new waterproof barrier was laid out and the new aluminum shingles were installed. To my pleasant surprise, each one was nailed in with 2 aluminum nails. This gives me confidence that this roof is made to last and is an excellent value for money. The installers worked for 3 consecutive days until the entire roof was done. Site cleanup was done at the end of each day. Some days the 2 installers worked beyond “regular” hours even though it must have been uncomfortable as these were unusually hot days for this area. Now, our house is much cooler in the summer and warmer in the colder weather. We have found it be noisier in heavy rain, but not significantly so. I quite like feeling dry, warm and cozy inside while it is raging outside – we live on a mountain, exposed to the elements. Last year I would go out and count how many shingles had been blown off by the high winds. I don’t need to do that anymore. Our neighbors have given us many compliments regarding our new roof – we are the envy of our small community. Finally, I would recommend Interlock to anyone considering a roof that lasts for many years. The product is outstanding.
I had originally planned to use the product on a new building but needed an older house reroofed. Newer building has been put on hold for now.
Professional and timely, installation was ahead schedule. A post (1-2 months) inspection done by non installers.
COMMUNICATION!!Don't make appointments and then not show up, don't miss appointments and make customers call for days to find out why and when the new appointment will be just to not show up again. ANSWER the PHONE when people call, having customers sit without information is infuriating and just makes them unhappy from the start. So...Communication and customer service improvement would be great. We were very upset with the wasting of our vacation time, had we known you would cancel 3 appointments to install just to not show up until after the leave from work was over, we would have gone and done things on our vacation. Instead it was just us sitting around the house very angry wondering if they were going to show up at all or even call....you wasted our time, and my husbands vacation time.
This company is a scam!and is now trying to put a lien on my house.i have been lied to by Glenn gloss and he tried to get me to sign a mortified contract for cheaper material when that didn't work he stalled,I am disabled and was under a heavy medication when I signed a contract with Glenn boss...
Needed to put this project on hold, due to other issues that have arisen. You will be the first people we call when we are ready to roof our home.
They did a great job on the roof, and it looks great. There was a little confusing with setting up the payments, but Rene was nice with helping me figure everything out. The system doesn't seem to have what you owe listed on there. We had to look at the invoice to determine things. I think the system could be a little clearer as to what you owe at what time. The little nails are not a huge problem. I used to do roofing when I was younger, and I understand how it works. Everyone was really nice and polite. When they did the installation, they knocked it out quickly before any rain. We did push it to the rainy season, so that was good to have it done quickly. They were really patient and responsive. If I had a question, I got an answer back quickly. I never felt like I was in the dark. This company is very customer orientated.
Interlock Roofing is amazing. From the first day I met their salesman to the day they started work on our barn and house. They were very easy to talk to and express our concern about how important it was to keep our hay safe from rain and the ground around the barn safe for the animals. They were fast exceptionally clean and so much fun to get to know. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a roof that will last a life time. Thank you for an amazing job and two beautiful roofs!
They all did a great job. Really liked the install crew. Was a pleasure...not sure where anyone could improve.
Timeliness, management communication with the customer. Not at this time. Dissappointed in time it took to complete project.

Metal Roofing FAQs for Homeowners in Carrolls
The following metal roofing FAQs are designed specifically for homeowners in Carrolls, Washington. Whether you are building a new home or replacing an existing roof, understanding how roofing materials perform in local weather conditions is essential. From wind and storm protection to fire resistance, hail impact, snow loads, and coastal moisture exposure, Interlock’s Lifetime Aluminum Roofing System is engineered to provide long-term durability, energy efficiency, and peace of mind in Carrolls.
Does metal roofing handle Carrolls' snow and ice buildup?
Yes. Interlock's four-way interlocking aluminum panels shed snow and ice efficiently because they're smooth and slippery—ice slides off rather than pooling. With Carrolls averaging about 51 cm of snow annually and roughly 24 freeze-thaw days per year, the light weight (Slate at 0.41 lb/sq ft) means no structural reinforcement is needed even under heavy wet snow. The panels won't crack or split from freeze-thaw cycles the way asphalt or wood shingles do. Optional snow guards can be installed if you want to control where snow exits.
Can a metal roof rust in Carrolls' wet climate?
Interlock roofing is made from 3105-H24 aluminum alloy—aluminum contains no iron, so it physically cannot rust. Instead, aluminum develops an invisible oxide layer that self-heals when scratched, protecting the metal underneath indefinitely. The Alunar 70% PVDF fluorocarbon coating is applied to both sides of every panel and carries a 30-year warranty against chalking and fading. With Carrolls recording about 1500 mm of rain annually, this dual-layer protection ensures the roof stays sound for decades.
Will a metal roof leak in heavy rain?
No. Interlock's four-way interlocking design creates a continuous, sealed system—water cannot penetrate the panel overlap. Carrolls averages 1500 mm of rain per year; the panels are tested and code-compliant under ICC-ES ESR-1790 (reissued 2025) for IBC/IRC rainfall and drainage requirements. Installation over a solid deck with roofing underlayment ensures water that hits the roof drains directly off. Thousands of Interlock installations in wet coastal regions confirm zero leak issues when installed to specification.
Can a metal roof handle Carrolls' wind gusts?
Yes. Interlock panels are warranted to resist wind speeds up to 120 mph (193 km/h) when installed to spec. Carrolls experiences typical gusts around 103 km/h, well below the warranty threshold. The four-way interlocking system locks each panel to its neighbors on all four sides, distributing wind load across the entire roof rather than concentrating stress on fasteners. The system has been installed and tested from coastal salt-air homes to Antarctic research stations, proving its performance in extreme wind.
Do I need to reinforce my roof structure for a metal roof?
No. Interlock aluminum weighs extraordinarily little—the Mediterranean Tile profile, which replicates the look of concrete or clay tile, is about 96% lighter than traditional tile and installs at only 0.59 lb/sq ft. Carrolls' average annual snowfall of about 51 cm poses no structural concern because the weight is negligible compared to asphalt or slate. Most existing roofs can support Interlock; no reinforcement means lower installation cost and no disruption to your home's frame.
How does metal roofing perform in hail?
Interlock holds a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating—the highest available. The warranty covers perforation from hailstones up to 1.5 inches. Class 4 aluminum roofs often qualify homeowners for insurance discounts because hail damage is extremely rare and repairs are straightforward. Carrolls' weather patterns don't indicate severe hail risk, but the protection is there. Asphalt shingles typically receive Class 2 or 3 ratings; Interlock's superior rating can lower your annual premiums.
Does metal roofing reduce cooling costs?
Yes. Select Interlock colors are energy-efficient with thermal emissivity of 0.84 and solar reflectance up to 0.55—meaning the roof reflects heat that asphalt absorbs. Carrolls enjoys about 2835 sunshine hours annually; reflective coatings reduce the heat load on your attic and lower air-conditioning costs during mild months. The Cool Roof Rating Council confirms this measurable benefit. Even in a Pacific Northwest climate, summer cooling savings accumulate over the roof's 50+ year lifespan.
What warranty comes with Interlock metal roofing?
The Guardian—Interlock's lifetime limited, non-prorated material warranty for the original owner covers rusting, rotting, splitting, cracking, curling, and loss of impact resistance for life. It's transferable once to the next owner, who receives 50 years of coverage from completion. This means you're installing the last roof you'll buy. The coating carries a separate 30-year warranty against chalking and fading, backed by ASTM testing. No other roofing product offers this combination of duration and transfer terms.
Is a metal roof worth the cost?
Metal roofing costs more upfront than asphalt, but the total cost of ownership is lower over 50+ years. Asphalt roofs require replacement every 15–20 years; Interlock's lifetime warranty and non-prorated coverage means you won't replace it. With Carrolls' 1500 mm annual rainfall and 24 freeze-thaw cycles per year, asphalt degrades faster than in drier climates. The math: three asphalt replacements plus labor and disposal versus one Interlock installation spread over half a century. Current promotion: no payments and no interest until Spring 2027 or 10% off installation.
