I wish there were a 4.75 rating, or something between 4 and 5, because although we are quite happy with our new roof...my policy is \*never\* to give a 5 out of 5 rating (because there is no such thing as perfection, and when everyone gives 5 stars, as seems to be the case nowadays, then 5 stars means nothing). We now have a beautiful (just ask our neighbors, several of whom have made it a point to tell us that they love it), but more important, high quality, life-guaranteed interlock roof. This is on the Oregon coast, and if you live on the coast or know anyone who does, you may know that "beach time" prevails, and local work crews will often start a job and disappear for "surf's up" or other beach distraction/things. Not in this case. What our friends (who had an interlock roof installed, several years ago) told us was was true: when the interlock installation crew was here, they \*worked,\* long and hard, and as long as the light (and weather conditions) would allow. The installation went smoothy, save for two glitches: (1) a gap due to the weather (not sure why the scheduler scheduled our project to start when the forecast clearly was for rain); (2) the person who measured our two skylights, which were being replaced as part of the installation, ordered the wrong size (which added another half day on to the installation, as the installer crew lead had to drive to Portland to get the correct size). But neither of those two glitches were the installation crew's fault, and we were impressed with the crew's work, their friendliness, and their cleanup afterward (and every day of the job - they did not leave trash lying about). I did my research before comparing and checking out varous kinds of roofs (e.g. comp; metal) and was highly motivated to get the interlock roof, and am glad that we did so. Beautiful roof and would recommend for others looking at options for new roofing. I feel that 25% of the project cost required up front is a bit much. We signed agreement in late November and job was not done until late June of the following year (7 months). It seems like a lengthy time to have quite a bit of money tied up and something less (10-15%) would be more appropriate.
I have already recommended them to several of my friends. I was pleased with the entire process from the initial contact to the follow up after the work. I would recommend this company to anyone. It was a wonderful experience, and the roof has already held up against extreme weather. The warranty also provided great peace of mind. We have never been happier with a purchase for our home. We feel like we've put on a lifetime roof, especially with the guarantee and warranty we have. It's nice to know we will never have to purchase a new roof again.

They were good, and they were there when they said they would be.
They could have improved on the installation. Glenn was great in that he checked to make sure we were satisfied. When I told him about the concerns we had, he went above and beyond to fix the problems. We were promised that if the installers found structural problems or damages they would stop all work and call us. They didn't do that. However, they did call and tell me they needed to replace the fascia board and I agreed. They didn't tell me they were only going to primer them and they would need to be painted and they didn't tell me that when they took down the gutters they wouldn't put them back up. Glenn called them and had them paint the fascia board and put the gutters back up. They only painted the facia board that the gutters were put on. We were instructed that we can't walk on the roof but Glenn said we could but we would have to be careful. However, we have siding and facia board that need to be painted and we need to walk on the roof but it is too slick to do so. We were told it would take less than a week to complete the job however they did start when they were supposed to. They didn't have all the materials they needed and it took 3 weeks to get the job finished. I think it looks pretty. There is a part of the roof that it's supposed to be the way that it is because there is no support there.
The only thing they could have improved on was the scheduling. It was quick! The job was completed in two days. They did a wonderful job!
