I think they could have better communication and better interactions with the homeowners about problem areas. I didn't get a notification that they removed the lean on the house.
They could have improved on the communication throughout the project. I did not fell like their cooperate side was effectively communicating with the installation team. It's like one of them did not get the full the message. In the area where we are and as we were about the estimates and etc...they did not recommend getting snow guards for the roof and that was fine but if you have high end gutters that have the mesh screens over the top then those get turned off pretty badly and i think that they should tell people that if they have a gutter guards that might be damaged by the large chunks of snow, then you might want to get guards.
The end of the project could be more definitive. I'm still waiting for them to come take pictures of the roof. I don't like the open end of that because they haven't taken the photos yet. We are super happy with the roof. It is gorgeous! We are so excited to have it. My only complaint, is that I want the photos done.
I think the work done and end results are great, the process getting there felt rushed and almost locked me into a situation I couldn't financially take care of, thankfully there was a document I kept that proved me in the right and I was able to proceed without further issue. More care/thoroughness when going over details of the paperwork involved.
They did exactly what they were supposed to do, there isn't much to improve on.
I think better communication at the beginning of the project and let me know when it would start would have made it much better. It would have prevented an issue at the beginning of the project. It is never good to start a project with an issue. I think someone should have notified me ahead of the time when they were coming or when to expect the delivery of material. The crew got here and they had to call for more material and they let me know. The head of the crew was very informative and let us know what was happening. He was very good.
The only improvement I would make especially for older homes, is to give home owners information that the roofing install could create a lot of vibration in the walls. If there is anything that could fall it would be good if it is removed before install. None
