What our customers are saying:
Thanks for a very positive roofing experience! Our new roof is so beautiful we’re thinking of charging a fee to all the gawking neighbors that stop by to admire it!!! This was fun, positive experience from start to finish. Our sales rep spent three hours at our home going over every possible detail with us. He was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. As you can see by the pictures we have a pretty basic roof. There was no tear off to do; still, our three installers were 80% done on the very first day! Everything was done and cleaned up to our satisfaction by the end of day two. Our installers were friendly, courteous and hard working. I watched them for a few minutes as they all worked like a finely tuned machine installing our roof in perfect rhythm. For us, Interlock meant that the third time was the charm. We’d tried to do business with two other companies. The first took a large amount of money as a down payment and gave absolutely no customer service for two months. We got our money back and started over. The second company gave an inaccurate bid. Needless to say, we entered into this contract with some trepidation. interlock is a fabulous company and we’d recommend them to anyone in the market for a new roof!
We are writing this letter to show our appreciation for the wonderful job that was done on our roof. From the date your company representative met with us in our home to the date of completion, words cannot express how completely satisfied we are with your company. We definitely wanted a quality roof and were very impressed by the representation that was given to us. The product you provide was enough for us to make our decision, however it was a huge plus not to have to deal with a pushy salesman and to have such polite, friendly and hard working men providing the service. It was a pleasure to have them around our home. The quality, craftsmanship and lifetime warranty of this roof far outweighs the increased costs over other roof systems. However, other roof systems don't come with lifetime warranties and many only last for 8 to 10 years. We may have paid a little more initially, but how wonderful it is to know we will never have to re-roof our home again. And in addition to all of the above, it looks so beautiful and has added so much style to our home. I never dreamed a roof could make such a difference. Again, Thank you so much and be sure to know we will highly recommend your company to all of our family and friends.
I am very pleased with the entire experience with Interlock Roofing. Ross did a fantastic job of showing me all of the options available, and explaining how Interlock is different from other roofing. This was not a hard sales pitch. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable a metal roof was. I had five other estimates for a traditional composite roof, and the price difference for a forever roof was negligible considering all the benefits. Next, the installation. These guys were amazing! Only two guys doing the demo and reroof, but very hard workers and did a fantastic job. It seems rare these days to find skilled tradesmen that take pride in their work, and these guys exceeded my expectations. I also took advantage of Interlock’s financing. Drew was very helpful and accommodating. The whole process was taken care of through Interlock, making it super convenient and great communication throughout. I will highly recommend:)
We just wanted to let you know how thoroughly-pleased we are with our new Interlock Roof. It is absolutely beautiful and we have had a lot of people stopping as they walk or drive by to admire how nice it looks. Everything progressed on the job exactly as you had shared with us when we signed the contract. There were no surprises. From the beginning when we got the call to set up a start date, to the final clean up and retrieval of the waste bin everything was handled so professionally. Viktor and Alex were a dream to work with-so-pleasant and each day everything was left so tidy that it would have been hard for guests to tell that we were in the middle of a re-roofing job. We will highly recommend your product and doing business with such a professional and obviously well run company.
I have already recommended them. Those guys were amazing. Peter, Victor, and the other installation guys were just unbelievable. It is a great company, and they did a great job with my roof. I get compliments all the time. It was a wonderful experience. They did a wonderful job on the house. It looks fantastic.
Interlock Roofing is amazing. From the first day I met their salesman to the day they started work on our barn and house. They were very easy to talk to and express our concern about how important it was to keep our hay safe from rain and the ground around the barn safe for the animals. They were fast exceptionally clean and so much fun to get to know. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a roof that will last a life time. Thank you for an amazing job and two beautiful roofs!
My wife and I want to express our complete satisfaction with the "Aged Copper" roof your firm installed on our "Barn-house" and gazebo. The two roofs have a high quality appearance and they enhance the looks of the property. We are looking forward to many years of satisfaction. We are now planning to re-paint the house with a color to better blend with the roof. The work performed by your installers was outstanding. They were friendly and very professional. They worked efficiently and energetically, and it was obvious they had the skills to do the job. Thank you for being such an excellent firm.
My husband and I would like to thank you for coming to our residence and explaining your product and all of its advantages. We were very impressed at this time and excited to start the beautification process of our home, which has been in my husband’s family for 5 generations now. It has undergone many remodels, upgrades, and changes throughout the years with a lot of help from friends and family. We will be celebrating its 100th birthday this year. The new roof is definitely a wonderful way to do so! The whole Interlock family was friendly and extremely easy to work with from the beginning of this process to the end. The job was started on time and finished when promised. We are very pleased with how smoothly the project went and very thankful that we were not the ones on top of the house!
HELLO! I am Gerry from Olympia, Washington. A few years ago, I had my re-roofing done by INTERLOCK ROOFING SYSTEM for my house here in Olympia. I would like to thank the INTERLOCK ROOFING SYSTEM for the best, beautiful metal roof I ever had; the color choice never changed in spite of the weather condition here in Washington. So, if you want your home to deserving a thorough, keen, professional touch, quality, and professionalism, I would highly recommend INTERLOCK LIFETIME ROOFING SYSTEMS for your COMPLETE METAL ROOFING.
We both work for Nordstrom and have come to expect a certain level of customer service. Both Paul and Ross were exceptional in this regard. They were knowledgeable friendly and very thorough! I would highly recommend interlock for anyone looking into metal roof options.
The roof is absolutely beautiful and compliments our home. The work was fast and professional. Communication about scheduling. Clean up of job site. We absolutely love the roof.
We were extremely pleased with Interlock Roofing as our selection to install an aluminum roof on our house and two outbuildings. The installation team were extremely hard workers and were always courteous and conscientious and left our project very clean. We would highly recommend all of them to anyone interested in a new roof including Paul Wright and the administration staff. Ron and Joanne Quiring nothing

Metal Roofing FAQs for Homeowners in Reece
The following metal roofing FAQs are designed specifically for homeowners in Reece, Washington. Whether you are building a new home or replacing an existing roof, understanding how roofing materials perform in local weather conditions is essential. From wind and storm protection to fire resistance, hail impact, snow loads, and coastal moisture exposure, Interlock’s Lifetime Aluminum Roofing System is engineered to provide long-term durability, energy efficiency, and peace of mind in Reece.
Will a metal roof handle Reece's heavy snow without ice dams and leaks?
Yes—aluminum's smooth, interlocking surface sheds snow and ice far more effectively than asphalt, which traps moisture and creates dams. Reece averages about 192 cm of snow annually, and the four-way interlocking panels (ESR-1790 ICC-ES rated) prevent water infiltration even when snow melts and refreezes during the region's typical 52 freeze-thaw days per year. The metal expands and contracts uniformly, and panels lock together to keep water out; you can add snow guards if you prefer controlled shedding.
How does aluminum roofing hold up to freeze-thaw cycles?
Aluminum's crystalline structure actually strengthens through freeze-thaw stress, unlike asphalt, slate, or wood. Reece experiences roughly 52 freeze-thaw days annually in a climate that averages 192 cm of snow and 1744 mm of rain, creating constant moisture cycling. The roofing-grade 3105-H24 aluminum alloy (ASTM B209) maintains its integrity through repeated expansion and contraction without cracking, splitting, or curling—problems common in traditional materials. The Alunar 70% PVDF coating, warranted 30 years, protects against weather-driven degradation.
Why should Reece homeowners choose aluminum over steel metal roofing?
Aluminum cannot rust because it contains no iron. In Lewis County's wet climate (1744 mm annual rainfall), this matters deeply: traditional steel rusts and fails; asphalt absorbs water and rots; aluminum's self-healing oxide layer actually strengthens when exposed to moisture. The Alunar 70% PVDF fluorocarbon finish is applied to both sides of every panel for extra protection in damp air, and even if scratched, the oxide layer reforms automatically. This is why Interlock installs from coastal salt-air homes to Antarctic research stations.
Can a metal roof withstand Reece's winter wind gusts?
Yes. Lewis County experiences typical daily-max winds around 10 km/h with gusts reaching 120 km/h, and Interlock's four-way interlocking aluminum panels are warranted to resist wind speeds up to 120 mph (193 km/h) when installed to specification. The interlocking design distributes wind loads across multiple panels rather than concentrating stress on fasteners alone. This engineering, combined with the material's lightness and flexibility, allows the roof to move slightly with wind pressure instead of fighting it—exactly what's needed in Reece's temperate storm season.
Does a metal roof reduce insurance costs after hail damage?
Interlock's UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating—the highest available—often qualifies you for insurance discounts because the roof is virtually hail-proof. The warranty even covers perforation from hailstones up to 1.5 inches. While insurance discounts vary by carrier and policy, many insurers lower premiums for Class 4-rated roofs because the likelihood of costly claims drops dramatically. In Reece's climate, where severe hail isn't the norm but wind gusts to 120 km/h are, the impact rating also proves the panels won't fail under storm-driven debris or fallen branches.
Can my home's framing handle a metal roof, or do I need reinforcement?
No reinforcement needed. Interlock's Cedar Shingle profile installs at just 0.41 lb/sq ft, and even the Mediterranean Tile—which replicates heavy clay or concrete tile—weighs only 0.59 lb/sq ft, making it about 96% lighter than the real thing. Most existing roofs can support this weight without any structural upgrades. In Reece, where homes often carry significant snow load (about 192 cm annually), the light weight is an advantage: it reduces total structural strain while the snow itself provides insulation. You can install over your existing roof, eliminating costly tear-off labor.
How does heavy rainfall and moisture affect metal roof performance?
Reece receives about 1744 mm of rain yearly, and the four-way interlocking panels (ESR-1790 rated) are engineered to shed water instantly—no moisture absorption, no rot, no delamination. Unlike asphalt, which absorbs water and degrades from within, or wood shakes, which split and curl as they soak and dry, aluminum and its Alunar 70% PVDF coating repel water completely. The oxide layer never permits rust, and the interlocking seams overlap in a way that directs water outward and downward. Combined with a solid deck and underlayment, the result is essentially asphalt-level leak protection with none of the moisture damage.
What makes Interlock's warranty different, and how long will the roof last?
The Guardian Warranty is a lifetime limited, non-prorated material warranty for the original owner—meaning you're covered for the roof's full life, not a declining percentage. It transfers once to the next owner for 50 years from completion, which protects your home's resale value. No prorating means you don't pay more to claim a leak in year 20. Coverage includes rusting, rotting, splitting, cracking, curling, and loss of impact resistance. In Reece's wet climate with 52 freeze-thaw days annually, this peace of mind is invaluable. The material itself lasts 50+ years with minimal maintenance.
How much maintenance does an Interlock metal roof need in Washington's rainy climate?
Virtually none. Unlike asphalt, which degrades under UV and moisture and requires regular inspections and repairs, or wood shakes, which need cleaning and periodic treatment, aluminum simply doesn't degrade in Reece's wet environment (1744 mm rain, 192 cm snow annually). You may occasionally clear gutters or debris, but the roof itself resists algae, mold, and moisture damage because it doesn't absorb water. The Alunar 70% PVDF coating, warranted 30 years against chalking and fading (ASTM D4214/D2244), means the finish stays vibrant without cleaning or resealing. CALGreen verification confirms reduced maintenance liability.
How long does installation take, and can you install over my existing roof?
Installation typically takes 3–5 days depending on roof complexity and weather. Yes, Interlock installs directly over most existing roofs—no tear-off needed. Because the panels weigh so little (Slate at 0.41 lb/sq ft, Shake at 0.58), your home's structure handles the weight even with the old roof beneath. This saves weeks of labor and keeps roofing debris out of Reece's landfills. Interlock Metal Roofing (PNW) Inc. has served Lewis County since 1997 and knows the region's weather patterns intimately. Current promotion: no payments and no interest until Spring 2027, or 10% off installation.
Is a metal roof a good choice for Reece’s climate?
Yes. Reece averages about 192 cm of snow, 1744 mm of rain, roughly 52 freeze–thaw days a year, with peak wind gusts near 120 km/h. Interlock® aluminum roofing is wind-rated to 193+ km/h (120 mph), UL 2218 Class 4 impact-rated and Class A fire-rated, and its four-way interlocking panels shed snow and resist ice dams and freeze–thaw cracking — all backed by a lifetime limited, transferable warranty.
