Scheduling was delayed due to Office Problems. Took Me 4 months to receive My Roof.
Partly I was around and partly I wasn't for the project. There is one spot on the roof, where there is a leak I would like someone to come and take care of that before the inside is damaged.
There was difficulty coordinating with the solar company. I provided a phone number for a person whom I thought still worked for the solar company. Interlock was unable to contact him, but didn't contact me about it. The problem wasn't noticed until the installers were ready to start, resulting in a delay before the installation could begin. Fortunately, we had sufficient good weather for the installation to be completed successfully. There was some difficulty at times communicating with Angela in the Interlock Industries office (425-438-8585). She apparently was on vacation at one point when I was trying to make contact. Her phone didn't seem to transfer calls to another person in her department, nor did it appear that anyone was checking for voice mail messages. The linkage should be tightened up so calls are always answered, if possible, and voice mails are responded to promptly.
We really appreciated Ross' salesmanship. He knows his product, and we were very impressed with the product. He had a good feel for how hard to push for a decision right that second. A lot of people try to get you to sign the minute they are in the door, and he did try to see if we were willing to do that, but when we flat out told him we would never do that, he backed off. We really appreciated that because we aren't good at making a decision like that. If he had pushed more, we would have just said no. However, we still considered it, and we spent a lot of time coming to our decision. In the long run, we decided now isn't the best time, but we would still consider it in the future.
My goodness where do we start! We just had our roof done three weeks ago! Vadamere was suppose to have a helper, but ended up doing it all on his own! He was very nice, professional, and had a fantastic work ethic!! He got everything done in three days! Yes these roofs do cost more, but I can't even begin to express how happy my husband and I are with the look, durabilty, and the thought of never having to do another roof again!! Winter is fast approaching, and we have no worries about any possible leaks! In fact we've even noticed our home is staying warmer than expected....did not figure that one in. I'm not sure at this point. They could improve with a more accurate completion-to-start time. Also, they could use screws instead of nails. It would be a lot more professional-looking to not have cut-off nails in the underside. I really wish they used screws instead of nails. It looks really unprofessional. The gentleman called and talked to the manager and made everything flush. Before that, we had one-and-a-half-inch nails exposed under my roof.
I wish they would've been a little more flexible on pricing.
