The sales process was painless and the salesman was kind enough to answer our many strange questions about styles, scheduling and pricing. True a metal roof is more expensive but the added comfort of a durable, pretty roof (that insurance companies like) is a good trade off. The guys doing the heavy lifting came promptly and were professional & friendly. They worked on the hottest days in July and got the whole roof finished in just a few days. They stored materials at the side of the house for a day or two and cleaned up everything after they left. We are very happy with how the project turned out and would gladly recommend Interlock Metal Roofing-Halifax to our friends & neighbours.

What a stunning enhancement to the appearance and value of our property. We couldn’t possibly be more appreciative. This is actually the second time we’ve worked with Maritime Metal Roofing. In 2019 they installed Interlock’s Cedar Shake roofing on our house and now, in 2026, we had them back to do the garage to match. The Installation Foreman on our job was Will; he and his crew were skilled, professional and wasted no time. They can make metal conform to whatever tricky twist it takes. And a special shoutout to Sales Rep, John, who went way beyond the call of duty in bringing us around to the decision to actually complete this project at this time. We always knew we wanted house and garage to match, of course, but just couldn’t pull the trigger on making it a financial priority . . . until we met John at the Spring Homeshow in Halifax. We weren’t actually planning any home improvement projects at all this year, just wandering around the various booths for something to do on a windy, wet Sunday. We happened to stop at John’s Interlock Roofing booth to brag about the fact that we had already employed their services on our own house and have been more than delighted with the results (and the 50 year transferrable warranty) ever since. When we let it slip that we would someday have to also do the garage, John went on high alert. Over the following week or so, he actually drove the considerable distance to our house TWICE to help us “decide” that, although there was nothing yet wrong with our current garage roof, the time had come to complete the “look”. Thank you to John for the gentle prodding, and thank you to Will and the guys for the expert installation. Couldn’t be happier!!
