What our customers are saying:
Prompt service and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
My wife and I wanted a long-term roof and I think we found it. The product seems very good and are installer Daniel was terrific and a trooper put a lot of hours and a lot of time and made it look real nice when it was completed. I would recommend the company if you're looking for a metal roof.
Ivan Excellent will make it right!!
We needed a roof repair when our neighbors tree dropped a large limb through our roof. Ivan came And accessed The damage, Ordered the sheets we needed. He came back and did the whole Repair himself. So happy to have it fixed along with his recommendations to have the roof cleaned. We appreciate his skills in repairing The roof.
The Interlock associate Ivan, came did an awesome service in correcting the part needed to be corrected, he left us with instructions of what we needed to check and to get in touch with, if needed 😀 Ms. May the associate answering the phone was helpful for us to get prompt service. They are dependable. We received roof service.
The work was efficient and well done. The service, the people and team were great. Beautiful roof.
I highly appreciate the professionalism, workmanship and the quality of materials used. I don't doubt that it will be our forever roof and will not need to worry about replacement during the life of our house. Ross, Tony, Roma were all great throughout the new roof installation process.
We noticed water spots on the ceiling. Ivan came, found a hole likely caused by a branch in the recent wind storm. He repaired the hole on the spot. Thank you Ivan!
Ivan replaced our exhaust vent on the roof that had some leaking issue. We were impressed with his professionalism, courtesy and fixing the problem to our utmost satisfaction. We certainly would recommend him and the company for any roofing issues being it a new roof or repairs.
We recently had our roof replaced with interlock aluminum shingles and we love how it made our house stand out in our neighborhood. I would have given 5 stars but there were few things that I wanted to point out. Ross arrived on time and did an excellent presentation. I specifically asked him if their installers are contractors and his answer was no, they are employees of interlock. Turns out they are contractors which is no big deal as long as they do excellent work, it’s all about honesty. Prior to installation, the installers told me that it would take about two and a half days to finish which is great, I said no rush. The installation process took two weeks, I hope everything will go well this coming rainy season. The only thing I didn’t like was at the end of the day they leave their tools in the driveway just laying around and the worst they leave their microwave plugged into the outlet with damaged power cord. But with all things said, we love our new roof and only time will tell if it was worth the price.
Excellent contact and coordination with field representatives and installers/project manager.
We recently had our roof replaced with aluminum shingles and are very satisfied so far. - Easy Sales Process – Thank you Ross for making everything clear and straightforward from the start. - Great Value – The price was very reasonable compared to other estimates. - Better Than Expected – The finished look exceeded our expectations and really improved the appearance of our home. It’s not as glossy as we feared, which we like. - Fast & Efficient – The crew worked quickly and finished everything in just 2 days for our ~1,000 sq. ft. house with two layers of old shingles. - No Issues – No noise at all, despite common concerns about metal roofs. Tip for others: Ask for the exact model and size of vents that will be installed before the project starts. Our vents were only a few months old but couldn’t be reused, and the ones the company brought were the wrong size. The crew had to buy replacements last minute, which worked but don’t perfectly match.

Metal Roofing FAQs for Homeowners in Tokeland
The following metal roofing FAQs are designed specifically for homeowners in Tokeland, Washington. Whether you are building a new home or replacing an existing roof, understanding how roofing materials perform in local weather conditions is essential. From wind and storm protection to fire resistance, hail impact, snow loads, and coastal moisture exposure, Interlock’s Lifetime Aluminum Roofing System is engineered to provide long-term durability, energy efficiency, and peace of mind in Tokeland.
How does a metal roof handle Tokeland's heavy snow and ice buildup?
Aluminum's smooth, interlocking surface sheds snow and ice far more effectively than asphalt, reducing the freeze-thaw damage that Tokeland experiences about 11 days per year. The four-way interlocking panels create a unified plane that prevents water infiltration even under sustained snow load; ice dams form less readily because the metal conducts cold uniformly rather than creating warm spots that trigger melt cycles. Snow guards can be fitted to any profile if you prefer controlled release. Over Tokeland's 52 cm average annual snowfall, this advantage compounds—fewer ice dams mean fewer water intrusions and no rotting decking underneath.
Why doesn't aluminum rust like steel roofing in wet coastal climates?
Aluminum physically cannot rust because it contains no iron; instead, it forms a thin, self-healing aluminum oxide layer that protects the metal beneath. When scratched, this oxide regenerates automatically—a trait that makes aluminum ideal for Pacific County's 2211 mm annual rainfall and salt-air exposure near the coast. Steel roofing, by contrast, rusts when iron oxidizes and the corrosion spreads. Interlock's 3105-H24 and 3003-H24 roofing-grade alloy, combined with the 30-year Alunar 70% PVDF fluorocarbon coating applied to both sides, adds a second defense layer. This two-tier protection means your roof won't corrode regardless of how many damp winters Tokeland delivers.
Does a metal roof leak in heavy rain like Tokeland gets?
Tokeland receives about 2211 mm of rain annually, and Interlock's four-way interlocking aluminum panels are engineered to shed that volume reliably. Each panel locks on all four sides, eliminating the lap-sealed seams where water can penetrate over time; the interlocking geometry channels water down and away. Installation over a solid deck with underlayment—often possible directly over your existing roof—provides redundant protection. Unlike asphalt, which degrades in heavy rain and can channel water into seams, aluminum is inert and doesn't absorb moisture. Proper installation per ICC-ES ESR-1790 specifications ensures that even Tokeland's storm-driven rains won't find a path past the panel seams.
Will my house need structural work to support a metal roof?
No—aluminum's extraordinary lightness means most homes don't require any reinforcement. Interlock's Slate installs at only 0.41 lb/sq ft and the Mediterranean Tile at just 0.59 lb/sq ft, making the Tile profile about 96% lighter than concrete or clay tile. This weight advantage is why Interlock can install over most existing roofs without adding structural load. In Tokeland, where homes already support decades of asphalt accumulation, switching to aluminum typically removes weight rather than adding it. The four-way interlocking system distributes the minimal load evenly across your existing framing, so you avoid the $3,000–$10,000+ cost of sistering joists or reinforcing trusses that traditional tile would demand.
Do metal roofs really save money on cooling, or is that marketing?
energy-efficient Interlock colors with a thermal emissivity of 0.84 and initial solar reflectance up to 0.55 reflect heat that asphalt absorbs, lowering attic temperatures and reducing air-conditioning load. Tokeland averages 2892 sunshine hours per year and typical daily-max winds of 19 km/h, meaning plenty of daylight-driven heat gain on south and west exposures. Cool Roof Rating Council certification backs these reflectance values. On a 2,000 sq ft roof in a moderate climate, homeowners typically see 10–15% cooling savings. Tokeland's cooler mean of 11°C limits the summer advantage, but reflectivity still matters during the shoulder season (April–May and September–October), and every kilowatt-hour saved offsets the roof's carbon footprint.
What hail protection does a metal roof offer, and can I lower my insurance?
Interlock achieves UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating—the highest available—and the Guardian warranty even covers perforation from hailstones up to 1.5 inches. While Tokeland's 10-year climate data don't flag severe hail as a routine threat, coastal Pacific County does experience occasional spring storms with hail mixed in. Class 4 impact resistance is a material fact that some insurers recognize with rate discounts on comprehensive coverage; contact your agent with the UL 2218 certificate. The non-prorated lifetime limited material warranty for the original owner means that if hail does cause damage, perforation is covered—no depreciation applied. That combination of durability and warranty coverage is why many homeowners in storm-prone regions see aluminum metal roofing as a wise insurance hedge.
Can a metal roof handle the windstorms Tokeland gets?
Yes—Interlock's four-way interlocking panels are warranted to resist wind speeds up to 120 mph (193 km/h) when installed to specification. Tokeland's typical daily-max winds average 19 km/h, with gusts recorded to about 122 km/h, so the 120 mph warranty ceiling provides a solid safety margin during winter storm season. The interlocking design means wind cannot peel panels up or create the flutter that can compromise asphalt shingles; each panel locks its neighbors into place. Installation per ICC-ES ESR-1790 ensures proper fastening and overlap so the entire roof system acts as one unified, aerodynamic unit. Over a 50+ year lifespan, that held-firm performance in Pacific County's coastal gales is a major advantage over roofing that degrades or loosens under sustained wind pressure.
What's the real lifespan of a metal roof, and does the warranty actually cover anything?
Interlock's Guardian Warranty is a non-prorated lifetime limited material warranty for the original owner, covering rusting, rotting, splitting, cracking, curling, and loss of impact resistance with no depreciation deduction. The Alunar 70% PVDF coating itself is warranted 30 years against chalking and fading per ASTM testing standards. When you sell, the warranty transfers once to the next owner for 50 years from roof completion. In practice, aluminum roofing in marine climates like Tokeland—with 2211 mm rain, 11 freeze-thaw cycles, and coastal salt air—routinely lasts 40–60 years. Unlike asphalt (15–20 years) or wood shake (25–30 years), metal doesn't degrade in freeze-thaw cycles, doesn't split from moisture, and doesn't attract rot. That real-world longevity, backed by a warranty that actually honors damage, is why aluminum is the last roof most homeowners need to buy.
How much maintenance does a metal roof need versus asphalt or wood?
Aluminum requires virtually no maintenance—no annual inspections, no moss or lichen removal, no flashing caulking, no resealing of seams. Asphalt shingles need debris clearing, flashing checks, and sealant reapplication every 5–7 years; wood shake demands professional treatment, regular inspection for rot, and replacement of split shakes. Tokeland's 2211 mm rainfall and salt air create constant conditions for asphalt degradation and wood decay, forcing frequent upkeep costs. Interlock's aluminum is inert and non-absorbent; rain and freeze-thaw cycles (about 11 per year in Tokeland) don't damage it. CALGreen verification confirms reduced maintenance load. A simple annual gutter cleaning is all that's needed. Over 50 years, the labor and material savings compound to tens of thousands of dollars compared to asphalt.
Who installs Interlock metal roofing in Tokeland, and how long has the company been around?
