Well, it's only been two or three weeks, so we don't know about the quality or if there are going to be any leaks. There are some troubling signs because there is some damage to the flashing in front of the garage, and we are trying to contact Interlock, but we don't seem to get any response from them. That is pretty troubling at this point. Communication would be number one, and also timing and schedule. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but there are still some things that they need to fix. I hope that somebody from the company is going to contact us and schedule that little fix. It's not a big deal, but it has to be done.

I recently had my 25 year old asphalt roof replaced with an Interlock Metal roof. I'm so very happy with my decision. In fact, best decision ever to have Interlock Industries install. The metal roof is manufactured in Delta, BC and they have their own installers. It's not panels! It looks very much like a cedar roof! Colour is awesome as well! My home is located in Victoria on Vancouver Island and looks great with my new roof! Interlock is a very professional business from contract signing to installation. Amazing crew that gets the job done in a timely manner. My roof looks fabulous. It's a work of art!!

Better/acurate communication.

The communication during the installation and when the wind deficiencies were found in my roof was not handled well. I had to go into my attic myself to verify whether the work they claimed was done had actually been completed — and several times, it wasn’t. They had to come back multiple times, and I had to adjust how I communicated just to make sure we could finally get everything resolved.

I like the product and the installation features over standing seam roofing for this application. There was never any third party quality assurance process to check on the installers work as he was working alone with a helper. Is this installed as per the recommendations of the manufacturer - I really cannot comment on that and neither can the sales person. All I have is a warranty piece of paper.

Quality product, good reputation is better and referrals, better than glossy brochure advertising. No follow up with Randal after installation. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback. Overall very satisfied with Interlock. I found at least 6 roofing nails left on the driveway after roof installation. Walked, swept and blew driveway to ensure it was clear.
